Carol Carnahan, age 49, passed away March 18, 2012 after battling Adenocarcinoma cancer.

Carol was born in Morristown, New Jersey to Richard and Brenda Carnahan. She graduated from Pequannock-Township High School. ?Carol held the position of general manager of Arrow Tooling. She was a longstanding participant (judge) in the Imperial Beach Sand Castle Days. Carol also enjoyed her time off in Cozumel with her family, as she was an accomplished diver. Her interests included family, cooking and her beloved pets, Kujo and Tiger. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members.?Carol lived in Canyon Lake and was in a relationship with Guy Rainwater for the past eight years. Friends and family say she will be remembered because of her great attitude about life and her holiday decorating practices she conducted yearly in the community.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Megan Hammill and Cheyenne Rainwater; her brothers, Ricky and Johnny Carnahan; and her lifelong partner Guy Rainwater. ?A memorial service will be held March 30 at Forest Lawn Mortuary, 1500 E. San Antonio Dr. in Long Beach. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a eulogy at 2 p.m. in the chapel.

There will be a Celebration of Life barbecue in the Holiday Bay Room at the Lodge on Saturday, March 31, starting at 1 p.m.
