Furry Kids' Camp is holding spring sessions

Animal Friends of the Valleys is holding its springtime Furry Friends Kids' Camps to help children ages 5 to 11 learn about pet care and responsibility as well as how to be safe around pets.

Each session of Furry Friends Kids' Camp will be Monday through Friday, in the community classroom at Animal Friends of the Valleys, 33751 Mission Trail in Wildomar.

Every camper will receive a T-shirt and will participate in animal-related crafts and activities on each day of the five-day session. All campers must wear closed-toe shoes. Here are the sessions:

Session 1 ? ages 5 to 8, March 28 through April 1, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Session 2 ? ages 9 to 11, March 28 through April 1, 1:30 to 4 p.m.

Registration form, release of liability and payment of $60 per camper must be received by AFV no later than Friday, March 25. Space is limited. Forms may be found online at the Humane Education page of the AFV website or may be picked up in the lobby at the shelter. Payment can be made at the shelter or online via PayPal.
