During November and December, the boys of Cub Scout Pack 346 were busy with fun, service, learning and giving. In November, the Pack honored veterans by visiting the Murrieta Field of Honor and then participating in the Canyon Lake Veteran's Day Ceremony, where they handed out flags to these in attendance.

The November Pack meeting was a time to learn and teach.Older Webelos Scouts were tasked with teaching the younger scouts some first aid, including how to stop bleeding and how to splint an arm.

The December Pack meeting was full of fun and games. The Bear Scouts each took on the challenge of creating their own carnival game. These 3rd grade boys were creative with their games and helped the younger scouts during the carnival.Fun prize and scouting tools were won by many of the boys during the event.

After completing their popcorn sales, more than $500 worth of Popcorn Care Packages were sent out to military members at home and abroad. The boys also collected food and toys to help those less fortunate in the Lake Elsinore area. The toys were donated to the Street Carts of Canyon Lake toy drive and the food was donated to HOPE in Lake Elsinore.

Several scouts receive awards at the meetings.Zander Keith was honored with a Bobcat Ceremony after achieving this rank in November. And in December, Santa Claus was on hand to pass out the Achievements earned to all the Scouts. The top popcorn sellers also were honored during the November and December meetings.

Mason Lavin, Matthew Thomas and Luke Thomas were the top three popcorn sellers, and Ward Hansford worked the most booth hours of all the scouts. These four Scouts received an additional prize of a day pack for use during scouting events, thanks to a generous donation from North Face.

Other scouts received a variety of prizes for each level of popcorn sold. The best prize was the opportunity to "Pie a Leader in the Face," which took place after the Christmas Carnival.
