On October 23, 19 rigs of Roadrunners headed to Oak Glen, where "the weather was warm and the mountains were beautiful." According to spokesperson and photographer Leann Kluck, the group enjoyed lots of apples, sauces, pumpkins, great food and Margaritas, and the view of the city below was an evening show in itself.

Activities including playing a new card game, mini golf and other camp games. Places members could visit were the Edward-Dean Museum, Snow Line Farms, Riley's Farm and others. The group returned to Canyon Lake on October 27.

Committee members for this outing were Bud and Alicia Hanner, John and Lou DeYoung, Jerry and Marilyn Serdinsky, and Monte and Patti Baxter.

Roadrunners RV Club dinner meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month. Social hour begins at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6. In addition to the dinner meetings, the group takes between six and eight trips per year. For more information about Roadrunners or the trips, contact Robb Smith at 244-3168 or RobbS44090@aol.com.
