The recent storm brought not only plenty of much-needed rain, but some of the best fishing of the year. For a crowd of Canyon Lake anglers, Eastport was the place to be, where many said that the fish were biting almost as quickly as lines were cast. Unfortunately, the fishing phenomenon was over as soon as the storm passed. This photograph, taken by Dennis Bickers, shows a fisherman trying his luck by the churning waters near Eastport.
