The Canyon Lake Lions Club will hold its annual Country Breakfast on Sunday, September 15, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Holiday Harbor.The menu will include scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, country fried potatoes, juice, coffee and tea for a donation of $7.50 per person.Kids 11 and under are $5. Bloody Marys and Mimosas will be for sale also.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or from any Lion or by calling LaRue McNamara at 244-6470. “Bring the family and enjoy a great breakfast by helping the Lions to continue their philanthropic efforts” says President Jack Melcher.

Cub Scout Troop 346, sponsored by the Lions Club, will be assisting the Lions in their “White Cane Project” as well as helping with the breakfast. The Lioness Club members will be helping their sponsoring Lions by serving coffee, orange juice and all the items necessary for the breakfast.

Lions support the Lions Clubs International Foundation, whose chief mission is to allocate funds and resources to solve major humanitarian challenges worldwide. Lions clubs all over theworld host “Sight Clinics” to provide eyeglasses to less fortunate people in their quest to help eradicate blindness. Recycled eyeglasses are always welcome.
