Fiesta Day celebrates its 40th year

As this year's Fiesta Day theme indicated, the community celebration has kicked off summer fun in Canyon Lake for the past 40 years. The first one was held in May 1973. Booths mostly consisted of an arts and crafts exhibition, a feature of Fiesta Day that continued into the early 2000s.
