Two age groups, 11 to 14 and 15 to 18, will vie for three spots for the State Derby. The winners in those age groups will receive an all-expense paid trip for themselves and one parent to Shreveport, Louisiana to fish for the national title and scholarship money. The cost to compete in the Canyon Lake tournament is $25, which includes membership to FLW and The Bass Federation, which runs the national tournament.

To register, call Sal Gervasi at 244-3294 at least one week in advance so the Bassmasters will have enough boats available.
