Easter Carnival as colorful as a basket of dyed eggs!

Article

Carol Winn, chair of the Jr. Women's Club Easter Carnival, says hundreds of Canyon Lake residents and their guests attended the annual Easter Carnival at Holiday Harbor Saturday, March 30. Over 300 children participated in the egg hunt, orchestrated by the Men's Golf Club, then enjoyed the day by jumping in the bounce house, sliding on the giant slide, playing carnival games, making crafts, getting temporary tattoos, having their faces painted like bunnies, and having their pictures taken with the Easter Bunny.

Several children won awards for various contests, including five who won Toys-R-Us gift cards by finding the "special egg."

The efforts of JWC members, Men's Golf Club members, vendors, high school volunteers and various sponsors combined to create a festive event for the benefit of the community. On hand to photograph the annual event was volunteer photographer Bert Barbay.
