Announcement: Fair's 'Sugar' is a champion

Article

Longtime residents Ed and Sandy Fair, at right in the picture, proudly announce that Fairspride Gimme Some Sugar, "Sugar," recently won her championship at the age of 18 months at the Del Sur Kennel Club Dog Show on March 16. (The American Kennel Club requires a dog to obtain a total of 15 points with two major wins to become a champion. A major win is worth three points or higher.)

Sugar, a Bichon Frise, attained her championship with a five-point major, which is the highest available, and then went on to win Best of Breed that same day.

Sugar began her AKC show career at the Kennel Club of Riverside Show on October 27, 2012, where she received her first show points. During her show career, she also received the Best of Opposite Sex Award four times.

The winning team of Sugar and professional handler Dorinne Waterman accomplished all of this in less than five months. Ed and Sandy are extremely proud of Sugar as they are her breeders and owners.
