Club News: Twirlers hold Christmas party

The Twirlers 3rd annual Canyon Lake Line Dance Charity Christmas Party was heldon December 5.According to spokesperson Dawn DeBoor, this year's charitywas theSun City Pantry Food Cupboard. Santa (Dave Alexander) and his elf (George Tibbetts) received the donations at the dancefor the Food Cupboard.

The Twirlers Beginning Square Dance Class is open to singles, couples and families. Children must be at least 10 years of age and accompanied by an adult at all times. It's held every Wednesday, 7 to 8:15 p.m. in the Holiday Bay Room at the Lodge. Regular club dances are held on the second Sunday of each month in the Holiday Bay Room.

Beginner line dance classes are held every Tuesday, 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Lodge. All ages are welcome. A beginning to intermediate line dance class is offered Wednesdays, 3 to 5 p.m., in the Holiday Bay Room. Each class is $4.
