Club News: Twirlers invite residents to send boxes to troops

Once again this year the Canyon Lake Twirlers Square Dance Club is partnering with the San Jacinto Masonic Lodge 338 to benefit American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. According to Gil Hodges, Masonic coordinator for the project, the Lodge sends boxes to the soldiers year round. The Canyon Lake Tennis Club collected clothing for veterans at their "Endless Summer Barbecue Mixer" tournament on September 22. The weather was definitely on the cool side for last weekend's Canyon Lake Ski Club "PB Challenge" tournament.
