Canyon Lake City Council voted unanimously in favor of mandatory spaying, neutering and microchipping of dogs and cats that live in the Canyon Lake City limits. Ron Stack makes it look like a breeze to guide his catamaran across the Main Lake. But all was not smooth sailing last Saturday. At one point during this outing, the boat capsized and the mast got stuck in the mud near Skippers Island, causing a brief stir at the Campground. There were some young men who came to his rescue, including Sean Sabo and Steve Munoz. Photographer Dennis Bickers was on hand to capture this slightly more picturesque scene.
